Qualitative Analysis: Identification of Unknown Inorganic Ions

Oftentimes in industrial settings, we do not always know what inorganic ions are present in solution and thus we need to determine a way to find out what all may be present in a sample.  This experiment is designed to guide students through a method that allows for them to determine what inorganic ions may be present in an unknown solution based off of a chart of known observations that they prepare in the first portion of the lab.
