Phase Changes of Carbon Dioxide

Solid carbon dioxide is often used to keep items cold for long periods of time and is advantageous because it does not leave items wet, instead solid carbon dioxide changes to a gas as it warms up.  This experiment is designed to have students observe all phases of carbon dioxide and measure the pressure of the triple point and the heat of sublimation for carbon dioxide.
